AlcoHELP firmly believes that sharing knowledge is key to its success and as such it is a member of or associated with the following organisations

  • The Alcohol Health Alliance (AHA) - The AHA (UK) brings together organisations whose mission is to reduce the damage caused to health by alcohol misuse.  Members include medical bodies, charities and alcohol health campaigners.

  • National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) - the largest umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in England

  • The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) - a membership organisation and a registered charity that sets standards for therapeutic practice and provides information for therapists, clients of therapy, and the general public.

  • The Medical Council on Alcohol (MCA) – Founded by a group of doctors from a range of different specialities in 1967, the charity seeks to improve the understanding and management of alcohol related health problems.

  • The Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP) - is the professional body for the substance use field and works to help improve standards of practice across the sector.
